Jul 12 – Cuccinelli on New EB5 Reg

July 12, 2019

<p>Comment: Cuccinelli on New EB5 Reg<br>
<div>
On July 1st–the very next business day after USCIS received the new EB5
Regulation from the OMB–USCIS Acting Director tweeted out the following
from his official Twitter account.
</div>
<div>
<br/>

USCIS Acting Director Ken Cucinelli @USCISCuccinelli “Good news! @OMBPress
cleared the #EB5 modernization rule last week. This is a good step toward
reforming the program so that it more closely aligns with Congressional
intent to benefit our economy and create jobs for American workers.”
<br/>
</div>
<div>
<br/>
</div>
<div>
This is by far the clearest public confirmation from the USCIS head–who is
the official responsible for taking the final step of signing off on
regulations before they are sent to the Federal Register–that the new EB5
regulation is on its way to be published in the Federal Register.
