Federal Litigation in District Courts
MJB Immigration also handles federal court litigation in U.S. District Courts. We handle mandamus actions where a foreign national sues for failure to timely adjudicate immigration benefits. We also handle habeas petitions challenging the legality of our clients’ immigration detention. Additionally, we handle actions filed under the Administrative Procedure Act (“APA”) challenging the decision of USCIS or another immigration agency. We use the APA to challenge USCIS’ erroneous decisions. Mr. Bratton is a highly experienced litigator and has represented clients in various district courts throughout the United States.
