Federal Litigation in District Courts
MJB Immigration also handles federal court litigation in the U.S. District Courts. This includes mandamus actions in which an individual sues for an agency’s failure to timely adjudicate immigration benefits; habeas petitions challenging the legality of our clients’ immigration detention; and actions filed under the Administrative Procedure Act (“APA”) challenging the decision of USCIS or another immigration agency. Attorneys Sarah Okuh and Jessica Larson are admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
