National Interest Waiver Win
MJB Immigration was retained by Dr. J to work on a clinical National Interest Waiver (NIW) I-140 immigrant visa petition. Our office worked on the petition with Dr. J and submitted it for processing to the Lincoln, Nebraska USICS Service Center on December 1, 2021. The petition was submitted via the standard processing route and was approved without a Request for Evidence on July 22, 2022. This development now allows Dr. J to extend his H-1B status beyond the six (6) year limit while he is waits for his adjustment of status application to permanent residency to be granted.
