Martin Jolic and Associates, LLC (dba MJB Immigration) is a full-service immigration law practice headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. The firm was founded in 2000 by one of the pre-eminent immigration attorneys in the United States and a Hungarian-born naturalized citizen. Over the years, the firm has grown into a boutique immigration law firm with an unmatched reputation for expertise in the area of employment, removal defense, and family-based immigration law.

Meet the Team
Stacy Cozart Martin is a Partner at Martin Jolic and Associates, LLC and focuses her immigration practice in both the business and family sectors. She processes Labor Certification Applications (PERM) with the Regional Processing Center and prepares and files petition paperwork with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS) for foreign nationals seeking visas in specialty occupations and as individuals of extraordinary ability, in addition to status as students, fiancés, and temporary/seasonal workers. Named the Best Lawyers® 2020 and 2023 Immigration Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Cleveland, Ms. Cozart Martin is an adjunct Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Michael Jolic is a Partner with Martin Jolic and Associates, LLC. He has worked in the Immigration Law field since 1997 and has a wealth of experience in a broad range of immigration matters. On a day-to-day basis, Michael works on various nonimmigrant visa cases, including H-1B, L-1A/B, O-1, R-1, TN and other categories. Michael also handles a wide variety of employment based immigrant visa petitions, J-1 Exchange Visitor Waivers and employment and family based permanent residency applications.
Sarah Okuh joined MJB Immigration in March of 2022 as the Managing Attorney for the Removal Department. Sarah has been a practicing immigration attorney since 2011, and her practice includes removal defense, asylum and other humanitarian-based immigration, family-based immigration, naturalization, appellate work, and federal litigation. She teaches at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law as an adjunct faculty member.
Jessica Larson joined Martin Jolic and Associates, LLC as Of Counsel in March 2021. Prior to joining MJB Immigration, Jessica was a partner at Benos & Larson, LLC. Jessica has been in private practice, focusing exclusively on immigration law, since 2012. Through the Department of Justice Honors Program, Jessica served as a Judicial Law Clerk and Attorney Advisor for the Cleveland Immigration Court from 2009 to 2011. She graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, summa cum laude, in May 2009 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2009.
Cerena attended The Ohio State University and received her undergraduate degree in English. In May 2019, she graduated from the University of Akron School of Law. While in law school, she participated in the University of Akron’s Immigration Legal Clinic, where she gained experience in removal defense before the immigration court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She has interned at the Cleveland Immigration Court for the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Akron International Institute. She is admitted to the Maryland bar and is authorized to practice before all immigration agencies and courts. Cerena joined Benos & Larson LLC as a law clerk in March 2019 and later became an associate attorney with the firm. She joined Martin Jolic and Associates, LLC in March 2021 as an Associate Attorney. Her practice includes removal defense, asylum, and appeals.
Magda Vlcek joined Martin Jolic and Associates, LLC in 2006 as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal and is now a Senior Paralegal. She assists Attorney Stacy Cozart with employment and family-based petitions. She holds a Diploma in Paralegal Studies from Cuyahoga Community College. Magda was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1994. She is fluent in Polish and Czech, in addition to English.
Dusica works with attorney Michael Jolic and helps prepare a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Specifically, she works on H-1B and L-1 petitions and assists in the preparation of family member H-4 and L-2 applications as well as applications for employment authorization. Moreover, she assists in the preparation and filing of family petitions, adjustment of status applications and applications for naturalization.
Dusica’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baldwin Wallace University. Her family immigrated to the United States from Bosnia in 2004. Outside of work, Dusica enjoys running, biking, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
Patry joined Martin Jolic and Associates, LLC in February 2021 as a Paralegal. She works primarily with appeals, asylum, naturalization and family-based immigration applications. Prior to joining our firm, Patry accumulated over ten years of experience as a legal assistant with Benos & Larson, LLC. Patry holds a Diploma in Paralegal Studies from Cuyahoga Community College. On a personal note, Patry was born in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States in 2003. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
