Attorney Michael Jolic was retained by a client to work on an EB-1(b) I-140 petition for an outstanding professor or researcher. The client had previously filed two such petitions with other attorneys but received denials. After identifying the shortcomings of the prior petitions, Michael recommended a course of action for the next petition. The client worked on addressing the deficiencies and MJB Immigration prepared and filed a new EB-1(b) petition. The case was approved and the client is now eligible to adjust status to permanent residency.
