San Diego MJB Immigration Attorney Michael Jolic submitted a National Interest Exemption (NIE) request to USCIS to waive the $100,000 payment resulting from the September 19, 2025 proclamation: Restriction on Entry of Certain Nonimmigrant Workers. This request will one of the very first NIE requests adjudicated by USCIS since the implementation of the new rule.
