Adjusting Status after Approved Waiver of Inadmissibility

January 18, 2023

It is often extremely challenging for individuals to find a pathway to lawful status after living in the United States for many years without status.  Attorney Okuh was able to help one such client in successfully seeking adjustment of status with a waiver of inadmissibility before the Cleveland Immigration Court.  Although this individual had some significant issues in her immigration history, Attorney Okuh was able to put them in context and make a case for how the client’s positive factors far outweighed the negative ones.  As a result, this individual will now be able to remain in the United States as a lawful permanent resident and will not be separated from her spouse.
