Attorney Michael Jolic was recently retained to work on a J-1 waiver for an Emergency Medicine physician looking to work in the State of Virginia. The application qualified under the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission’s guidelines and attorney Jolic prepared and submitted the application on March 20, 2023. The application was recommended for approval on March 28, 2023, despite the fact that standard processing times are 45 days. This physician will soon be serving the underserved population of Virginia as part of his three year commitment needed for a J-1 waiver.
