An Afghan national already here in the United States came to Attorney Jessica Larson for help preparing and filing an asylum application. He feared return to Afghanistan due to his ethnicity and political opinions. Attorney Jessica helped him to file his application with the USCIS asylum office, and to prepare for and attend his interview, in early 2022. In fall 2022, USCIS approved his asylum application and now he will be able to remain safely here in the United States.
